Industry Context

The Challenge for Regional Resellers

Michael Henry started Accelerynt in Plano, Texas in 2018 after four turns as an enterprise CIO, and Mike Reyes joined as chief security officer the following year, arriving from Digital Realty. The firm is entirely employee owned, with no private equity and no acquisition debt behind it, and it staffs engagements with senior operators rather than a junior analyst tier. Everything it delivers sits on the Microsoft stack: Sentinel, Defender, Entra and Purview

That last decision is both the product and the ceiling. Selling senior people only means every delivered hour is expensive and none of it scales, because there is no junior tier to absorb the routine half of a Sentinel migration or an Entra rollout. A large project therefore consumes exactly the same scarce people who are meant to be winning the next one. Employee ownership tightens the squeeze rather than easing it, since there is no outside capital to hire ahead of a pipeline that has not closed. On an oversized engagement the practical choice becomes declining it or stretching the timeline until the client's patience runs out, and neither answer flatters a firm whose entire pitch is seniority

There is a third option. CWS supplies engineers who deliver under the Accelerynt name at the seniority bar the firm sells on, to one standard, across the United States and Canada, with French language delivery where Quebec or Canadian federal work demands it. Scoping, quoting and project tracking run through Corova, so extra capacity shows up as a line item on a project rather than a hiring decision the employee owners have to fund out of next year's distributions

Why This Matters for Accelerynt

Employee ownership is a promise to the people holding the shares, and hiring into an unclosed pipeline breaks that promise faster than turning work away ever does. Contracted senior delivery keeps payroll and pipeline separate. Accelerynt keeps the client, the brand and the margin, and the client still never meets a junior analyst
