The Challenge for Mid-Market Resellers
Raminder Mann bought ANM outright in 2013, and the founders make a point of saying nobody lost a job in the process. The company still carries no private equity and no debt, which in a channel this consolidated counts as a position rather than an accident. From one Albuquerque office opened in 1994, ANM now runs seven, the newest of them in Salt Lake City since June 30, 2026, reaching across New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Wyoming and North Carolina
Public sector is the engine and also the constraint. Over half of ANM's client base sits in state and local government, and that money moves on fiscal year boundaries rather than on a hiring plan. Certifications compound the pressure. Cisco Gold and the Master specializations in security, collaboration and networking are renewed with certified headcount, and the SOC 2 Type II audit ANM announced in November 2024 exists because healthcare, financial services and education customers started asking for it. Each new office makes the arithmetic harder. Raleigh and Salt Lake City need delivery capacity before either has the local revenue to pay for a full bench
