Aunalytics has built its identity around data and AI, around the analytics platform it sells to those banks, and that is where the engineering attention goes. Managed security arrived through acquisition and now has to satisfy PCI DSS and HIPAA obligations the data platform never faced directly. When a defense manufacturer asks about CMMC, the answer has to come from a security engineer rather than a data scientist, and the two are not interchangeable no matter how good the data model is
