Industry Context

The Challenge for Mid-Market Resellers

Gaming Laboratories International bought Bulletproof in June 2016. That is why a company three friends started in Fredericton in 2000 now sells into gaming, lottery and tribal operators as readily as into insurers and municipalities, and why it runs a second security operations centre out of Las Vegas. Purchases of its own followed. SeNet International Corporation merged in through the GLI group in 2019, and the Boston IT firm Terminal was bought in 2022. Credentials stacked up alongside: SOC 2 Type 2, Cybersecure Canada accreditation, and Microsoft Security Partner of the Year for 2021

Regulated verticals set the floor for everything else Bulletproof sells. A tribal gaming operator and a Canadian municipality will not accept different standards of evidence because one of them pays more, so every engagement has to be run as though a regulator will eventually read the report. That is expensive in the one resource nobody can buy quickly. Security testing, extended detection and response, and compliance work all draw on the same senior consultants, and Microsoft's solutions partner designations keep a standing claim on those same names. Demand across Fredericton, Boston and Las Vegas does not arrive in the shape a fixed bench was sized for

CWS extends the bench without loosening the standard. Consultants deliver under the Bulletproof name across the United States and Canada, to one methodology, with French speaking delivery where Quebec or Canadian federal work calls for it. Scope, price and delivery status live in Corova, which means an overflow engagement leaves behind the same evidence trail as one staffed internally. Nothing in the client's experience signals that anyone else was involved

Why This Matters for Bulletproof, a GLI Company

GLI did not acquire a New Brunswick MSP. It acquired a compliance posture worth selling into regulated markets, and that posture is only ever worth the delivery capacity standing behind it. Turning work away and taking it while stretched are two ways of spending the same asset
