Managed service margin depends on standardising the work, and standardisation is exactly what a merger of three regional businesses plus a consultancy takes years to finish. Security is where the strain shows first, because the regulated end of the customer list, financial services, healthcare and public sector, asks for control design, evidence and audit support rather than platform operations.
