Exabeam named Castra its top MSSP and MDR partner for the United States and Canada for 2022, having already given the firm the Americas award in 2021. Tony Simone and Grant Leonard started the company in 2012 in Durham, North Carolina, and built it on custom rule writing and co managed SIEM rather than on a packaged detection stack. Detection engineering is bespoke by definition.
