The Challenge for Mid-Market Resellers
Clear Technologies opened in 1993 reselling IBM Power hardware, including the AS/400 line, and more than 30 years on it is still an IBM Platinum Business Partner. In 2010 the company did the thing most resellers never attempt and shipped software of its own: Visual One Intelligence, launched as Visual Storage Intelligence, a subscription platform that reports on capacity and cost across storage, compute and cloud. Growth followed. CRN placed the firm at No. 27 on its 2026 Fast Growth 150, a ranking driven by two year growth rate, and named it to the 2026 Solution Provider 500 for an eighth consecutive year
A reseller that also runs a software business is two companies on one payroll, and the second one is why the first gets in the door. Visual One Intelligence sells on interpretation rather than dashboards, so somebody senior has to read a customer's capacity data and say what to do about it. That is expensive time. The services side, meanwhile, sells storage, server and managed services engagements into enterprise accounts across healthcare, finance, energy, transportation and education, all of it run from a single office in Addison. A No. 27 growth rate is what it looks like when the pipeline gets ahead of the bench, and the first casualty is usually the platform team, pulled onto an implementation because the implementation has a date
CWS closes that gap without a second logo appearing on the statement of work. We field engineers who deliver as Clear Technologies, to one standard, anywhere in the United States or Canada, and in French when a Quebec or Canadian federal buyer requires it. Corova holds the scope, the price and the project record, so a Clear Technologies project manager tracks a Canadian deployment exactly the way they track a Texas one

Why This Matters for Clear Technologies
Visual One Intelligence is the asset, and every hour a platform engineer spends racking somebody else's storage is an hour that asset does not compound. CWS takes the implementation load so Clear Technologies keeps building the product that makes it more than a reseller
