The Challenge for Enterprise Resellers
Patricia Gallup and David Hall started the company in 1982 in a former woodworking mill in Marlow, New Hampshire, with about $8,000 of savings and a plan to sell computers through the mail. Two purchases in 2016 changed what the business was. Softmart arrived in May with software licensing depth, and GlobalServe followed in October, bringing a procurement portal that now reaches 174 countries from the headquarters in Merrimack
Net sales were $2.9 billion for the year ended December 31, 2025, and they came through three operating segments selling to buyers with little in common. Enterprise Solutions accounted for 44 percent of that, Business Solutions 38 percent, Public Sector Solutions 18 percent. The public sector segment alone covers federal agencies, state and local government, K-12 districts and universities, four buyer types with four sets of rules about who is allowed near the environment. Security scope arrives in all three segments. It cannot be routed to a distribution center, which is where the ISO 9001:2015 and SOC 2 Type 2 attestations actually sit, at the Technology Integration and Distribution Center in Wilmington, Ohio. That building configures and ships hardware. Connection reports more than 5,000 professional certifications across a workforce of about 2,600, and certifications are not the same thing as consultants who can be on a plane next week
CWS staffs that work. Our engineers deliver under the Connection name, to one standard, across the United States and Canada, and in French when a Quebec or Canadian federal contract calls for it. Corova carries the scope and the quote and keeps the project record, so an engagement sold by any of the three segments reaches the customer looking the same

Why This Matters for Connection (PC Connection)
A procurement network that reaches 174 countries is worth more when the security work sold alongside it can be staffed the week it closes. CWS supplies that capacity without a hiring plan attached to it. The customer never sees a second logo
