Industry Context

The Challenge for Enterprise Resellers

CyberProof has been part of UST since it started in 2017, which makes it unusual among managed security firms of its age. Tony Velleca founded it and still runs it. The build centred on Israeli security talent, its SeeMo virtual analyst sits inside the service, and the company holds ISO 27001 along with a SOC 2 Type 2 audit. In December 2024 it bought Interpres Security of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, moving into continuous threat exposure management and automated security control assessment

Selling exposure management alongside a SOC contract creates a staffing problem that recurring monitoring never had. Detection and response is a subscription with a predictable roster behind it. Exposure work is project shaped, arrives in bursts, and ends in findings the customer expects someone to fix. Remediation is the awkward part, because fixing means putting hands on identity systems, cloud estates and endpoint tooling that a monitoring contract deliberately kept at arm's length. UST has the engineering scale to do that work. Whether it is free in the week a CyberProof customer wants it, in the country where that customer sits, is a different question

CWS answers the scheduling half. Our consultants deliver under the CyberProof brand to one standard across the United States and Canada, in English and in French where Quebec or Canadian federal work demands it. Scope, quote and project record sit in Corova, so a co managed engagement stays legible to the partner running it and the client paying for it. Nobody has to explain who we are, because the customer never meets us

Why This Matters for CyberProof

The threat led story CyberProof tells is the right one, and it generates demand its SOC contracts were never sized to absorb. North American delivery capacity is the binding constraint here, not technology. CWS supplies it and stays invisible
