The Challenge for Mid-Market Resellers
Evolve IP's name now lives mainly in Europe. Founded in 2007 in Wayne, Pennsylvania, and given a majority backer in Great Hill Partners in 2016 along with more than $100 million set aside for acquisitions, the company combined with ATSG on October 31, 2024. In March 2025 the merged business took the name XTIUM in the United States, while EMEA kept the Evolve IP brand together with the UK office and regional operations
Two brands, one delivery organization, and security obligations that do not care which name is on the invoice. Evolve IP sold virtual desktops and cloud communications to credit unions, healthcare providers, law firms and insurers, then bought its way into the identity piece with Clearlogin of Mountainside, New Jersey in 2017, the same year it picked up Mtel in Rotterdam and a year before thevoicefactory in Cardiff. Holding the identity plane for a regulated customer changes the questions that get asked. They stop being about uptime and start being about who has access, when the last review ran, what happens the week someone leaves and who signed the exception. Answering that the same way on two continents under two names takes more security engineers than a communications business normally carries
CWS supplies those engineers. They work under whichever brand the customer already knows, to one method either way, across the United States and Canada, and in French when Quebec or Canadian federal work calls for it.
