The Challenge for Mid-Market Resellers
GoSecure runs two head offices at once, a Canadian headquarters in Montreal and a United States headquarters in San Diego, California, with a third office in Quebec City. Neal Creighton has been chief executive since 2012. The board is chaired by William J. Fallon, a retired four star admiral, and seats investors from Shield Capital, Yaletown and Razor's Edge Ventures. GoSecure dates its security practice to 2002 and now sells it mainly as a managed detection and response subscription
With those investors represented at board level, subscription revenue is the number under the microscope, and the MDR platform is the asset behind it. Professional Security Services does not behave the same way. Penetration tests, PCI DSS readiness work and incident response engagements arrive attached to platform deals, get sold by the same account team, and consume senior consultants who cannot be spun up on demand. A quarter of heavy services demand either eats the margin the board is watching or turns into a queue. Geography sharpens it, because a Quebec client expects French and a San Diego client expects someone on site
CWS takes that overflow. Our consultants deliver under the GoSecure name, to a single delivery standard, wherever the work lands in the United States or Canada, and in French when a Quebec client or a Canadian federal file requires it. Scoping, quoting and project tracking run through Corova, so a services engagement attached to a platform deal can be priced and staffed in the week the subscription contract closes. Bench capacity flexes with the pipeline. The subscription margin stays where the board expects it

Why This Matters for GoSecure
The platform story and the services bench pull in opposite directions, and only one of them has to be owned outright. A delivery partner working under the GoSecure name lets consulting revenue grow with demand rather than ahead of it. That is a hiring decision the board never has to approve
