The Challenge for Mid-Market Resellers
GreenPages started in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 1992 as a catalog reseller of computer hardware, and took its name from the Yellow Pages. Years across the river in Maine followed, then a return to Portsmouth in March 2023 and, four months later, a change of name to Blue Mantis. Behind both moves sat new ownership: a recapitalization with Abry Partners in December 2020 and a majority investment from Recognize in September 2024
Two private equity owners inside four years, and an acquisition list to match. LogicsOne arrived in 2012, Norwell Technology Group in 2018, then Arcas Risk Management and Zanaris within days of each other in early 2023, HighTechnique in 2024 and North Shore Data Services in 2025. Arcas brought incident response and compliance advisory. Zanaris brought a Toronto office and engineers who had never worked to a New Hampshire method. Every purchase adds senior people who scope differently, write statements of work differently and price differently, and Recognize has said plainly that more deals are coming. Security is where that shows first, because a client comparing two assessments carrying the same logo notices when they do not read the same way
CWS staffs the delivery side of that. Engineers work under the Blue Mantis name to a single method that does not change with whichever acquired team the work lands in, across the United States and Canada, and in French where Quebec or Canadian federal clients require it.
