ITonDemand is the managed IT division of Tectonic, a group whose other arms include a branding studio called VIA Studio and an accessibility management platform for higher education called Orchestrate AMS. The IT practice itself dates to 1999, and the parent traded as eResources before adopting the Tectonic name. Clients sit in seven states and Washington DC, reached from group offices running from Ocala, Florida to Ferndale, Washington. The practice has placed on the MSP 501 and the MSP Pioneer 250, and appeared on the Top 200 MSSPs list

Belonging to a group built that way means security work rarely arrives labelled as security work. A university buys accessibility management and later needs an answer about how student records are protected. An association buys a website and then asks who is watching its endpoints. Nonprofits, school districts and government clients all appear on the ITonDemand list, and many of them entered through whichever Tectonic division sold to them first. What comes out of that is a pipeline shaped by other people's conversations, where a HIPAA question from one client and a CMMC question from another can land in the same week, in an order no staffing plan would have predicted
