The Challenge for Enterprise Resellers
Abry Partners recapitalized NexusTek in December 2017, merged it with Breakthrough Technology Group of New York, and took the Colorado company out of Lightview Capital's hands. NexusTek itself dates to 1996 and sits in Greenwood Village. Symmetrix Solutions came in 2020, ICCS and Co. in 2023, and Enterprise Solutions Providers in 2024, each one adding a client base and an engineering team to the same platform
A sponsor backed roll up has a clock on it. Every acquired team has to be brought onto the same operating model quickly, because the value sits in the consolidation rather than in the sum of the parts, and the SOC 2 Type II report means that consolidation has to be documented rather than merely intended. Security delivery is the hardest piece to move. Life sciences and financial services clients who arrived through ICCS in New York expect the same evidence and the same response times as a Colorado hospitality client who has been with NexusTek for a decade. Building a security bench large enough to absorb the next acquisition before it closes ties up headcount and capital an owner would rather see deployed into the deal itself
CWS solves that without the payroll. Our engineers deliver assessments, remediation and security operations under the NexusTek brand, to one standard, wherever the client sits in the United States or Canada, with French delivery available for Quebec and Canadian federal work. Corova handles scoping, quoting and project tracking, which matters most in the months after a close when an acquired team is still learning your process

Why This Matters for NexusTek
Integration debt is the real cost of a roll up, and security is where it accrues fastest and gets noticed first. Every month an acquired client waits for the standard NexusTek experience is a month the thesis goes unproven. Contracted delivery closes that gap without adding headcount the next diligence process has to explain
