The Challenge for Mid-Market Resellers
PCH Technologies became the 81st operating company in Lyra Technology Group's portfolio when Evergreen acquired it in June 2025. Before that it was PC Helpers, a business Tim Guim started in 1997 immediately after finishing a computer science degree at Drexel University, and grew without outside capital for 28 years. The name never fully changed. Recognition followed the same slow curve, with placements on CRN's MSP 500 and Pioneer 250 lists and on Channel Futures' MSP 501 in 2023, 2024 and 2025
Sitting inside a portfolio that size changes what a firm is measured on. Growing organically was a virtue while PCH answered only to its founder. That same history reads differently inside an 81 company portfolio where every operating unit competes for capital and attention. Meanwhile the client base is the demanding kind: financial services, local government, construction and manufacturing across New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Florida, with international accounts on top. A SOC 2 Type 1 attestation and a cyber warranty program built on Cork both signal that someone can do the deeper security work standing behind them. Expectations of that sort compound faster than headcount
CWS supplies the engineers for that deeper work. Engagements go out under the PCH name and to one delivery standard, covering the United States and Canada, delivered in French as well as English wherever Quebec or Canadian federal requirements apply. Corova holds the scope, the price and the project status, which lets PCH quote an assessment in the same week a client asks for it rather than weighing whether the opportunity justifies a hire

Why This Matters for PCH Technologies
Guim built PCH without outside money for 28 years and then sold into a platform where the comparison set is an 81 company portfolio. The quickest way to look good in that comparison is to win security work without adding fixed cost. Subcontracted delivery under your own brand does precisely that
