Industry Context

The Challenge for Enterprise Resellers

SageNet's satellite business is older than SageNet. It arrived in 2013 with the purchase of Spacenet, a company founded in 1981 that had passed through General Electric, GTE and Gilat Satellite Networks before ending up in Tulsa. Three more deals followed. The cybersecurity business unit of Turnberry Solutions came in 2015, Aware Software in 2018 and Convergent in 2021. Founded in 1998, SageNet has assembled most of what it sells rather than grown it, and it now holds an authorized reseller designation for SpaceX Starlink on top of all that

Four businesses absorbed in eight years leaves four ways of doing things. About 400 associates now cover retail, convenience store, restaurant, energy, healthcare, financial services and utilities operators from Tulsa, Atlanta, Washington, DC and Toronto. Counting endpoints is the wrong unit for security work. A segmentation program or an identity rollout for one large retail chain absorbs senior engineers for weeks and cannot be spread across a NOC roster the way monitoring can, which is a different problem from the one that earned SageNet a place on the MSSP Alert Top 75 in 2021. The Toronto office compounds it, because Canadian customers and any Quebec exposure carry a French language obligation that a Tulsa bench cannot meet

CWS supplies exactly that missing layer. Engineers work under the SageNet name to one delivery standard across the United States and Canada, and our bilingual capability covers French for Quebec and Canadian federal engagements without SageNet standing up a separate Canadian practice. Corova carries scoping, quoting and project tracking, so a security engagement is priced and governed with the same discipline as a network rollout, which is the piece acquisitions usually leave unresolved

Why This Matters for SageNet

SageNet has proved four times over that it can integrate a business. Renting a security bench is cheaper than buying a fifth company to get one, and it adds no new culture to the ones already inside the walls. The Toronto office is the tell. Canadian demand is already in the book, and French capability is the entry fee for the half of it that sits in Quebec
