The Challenge for Mid-Market Resellers
Structured has kept an office in Anchorage since December 2003, which is not something most Oregon integrators bother to do. Founded in 1992 in Clackamas, just outside Portland, the company pushed out into Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Illinois and Texas, and it placed No. 159 on CRN's 2025 Solution Provider 500 in its fifteenth consecutive year on that list
Eleven offices is a wide footprint for a company this size, and the services hanging off them are the expensive kind. Penetration testing and a managed SOC are delivered by named specialists rather than shipped from a warehouse, and compliance audit work is harder still, because it needs someone who has already read the client's regulator. No firm at this scale keeps a resident assessment team and SOC engineers in every market at once. So the specialist in Portland flies, or the Anchorage client waits, or the scope quietly shrinks to whatever the nearest office can already cover. None of those three is what the salesperson sold. Alaska sharpens the point, because a client there is buying from a bench that mostly lives in the lower forty eight, and the calendar breaks first
CWS offers a fourth option. We staff the engagement under the Structured brand, to one delivery standard, anywhere in the United States and Canada, and in French where Quebec or Canadian federal work calls for it. Corova handles the scope, the price and the project record, so the Structured account lead keeps the client relationship and gives up none of the visibility. Nothing in the paperwork points back to us

Why This Matters for Structured Communication Systems
Fifteen straight years on the Solution Provider 500 says the client relationships hold. What tests them is the assessment a client asks for in a market where Structured has three people and no assessment lead. Rented capacity under your own badge answers that without opening an office
